AmeenSayani is one of the most popular radio announcers who accomplished prominence in South Asia.

Ameen Sayani (21 December – 20 February ) was an Indian radio announcer.

The program BinacaGeetmala of Radio Cylon gave him this fame. He used to address his crowd as " BahenoaurBhiyo " with the melodious touch of his voice which is still famous. In his successful career path, his number of contributions as a producer and an announcer of programs was more than since AmeenSayani was born in Mumbai on December 21, At the age of just 13, he amazingly worked as a broadcaster for AIR Bombay and took part in broadcasting programs for children in English.

He comes from a family who are multilingual. Later in , he shifted to Gwalior and studied in Scindia School. After Independence, he returned to Mumbai and by then he had worked as an English Broadcaster in several programs. After the audition, he was rejected as he had an accent that had a hint of English and Gujarati. But he was not the type of person that would give up so easily.

He managed his way and went on to become the most loved announcer in All India Radio.
