Moody blues biography book review

I'm Christie Grayson and this is my first book. Obviously I'm a big fan of music, and music of the 60s or I would not have written it!

For those worried about it, this book is NOT a salacious "hit job" on the Moody Blues, because there just isn't that much scandal on the band, though they are quite fully rock .

We all like to think we are very special of course, but in reality I'm a fairly boring regular Baby Boomer with children, grandchildren and a job. I did some college long ago in the Stone Age, and the education system kicked me out finally with a Master's in Psychology. With that sheepskin in my resume you'd think I'd write about Dr.

Freud's family history; but music has always held a special place for me, and is much more soothing to the nerves than psychodynamics. I play the guitar and piano, and even used to dance when I wasn't afraid I'd break a leg!!!

Age does have it's downside. I'm planning more books, historical fiction, based on some of the wonderful stories I keep turning up while researching my personal genealogy. This book has been hanging around for about 15 years now in my word processor, I published a very limited "garage publication" edition in For those worried about it, this book is NOT a salacious "hit job" on the Moody Blues, because there just isn't that much scandal on the band, though they are quite fully rock and roll artists.

That's the beauty of the band. They have normal lives and families, and just stick to playing wonderful music. The book is entirely document-based, quite a few wheelbarrows full of tapes, articles, books, and CDs. It was "ninety percent perspiration" putting it together, but also a lot of fun. I hope my writing can answer any questions new or old Moodie fans might have about "our band" with this 3rd edition on Kindle.
